my two cents on paint, first buy resene house paint heaps of colours and great price at 150 for 4Ls
step two - hand brush first coat.
Step three - do final coats with a fine haired roller, this gives it an almost flat finish
boom bobs ya uncle and fanny's your aunt laughing away with your under 300 doaller paint job that looks flash as a rat with a gold tooth- 1

but not looking at the fact of splicing my air intake pipe for the heat into the snorkel air line, that way it has no chance of sucking up any water

am then going to attach the box to the firewall with some 90 degree angle brackets, doing it this way as im not wasting time making a box for it to sit in, the box protects it mostly, and its all off the shelf components which saves time

so everyone is updated i have brought said heater and waiting for its arrival will do a tech thread on here once i get it and install the thing, allready buzzing with mounting ideas so far this is the plan
Mount it in this said box, chop the handles off and take the lid off, maybe depends if the lid rattles , chop holes in the bottom for piping and also chop holes in the side for ducting -
i thought id mount it high up on the firewire, i thought about under interior wells in the back, but then wading through water sitting in water, might swamp the unit, on the fiewall up high that will be the last of my worries if the water is that high

rcd dont make it into 15amps all an rcd dose in layman terms is protect agaisnt a fualt as in if your extension lead has a cut in it and you touch it giving yourself a shock it will trip out,
a breaker is rated to average working current ie a power point circuit is typically rated at 15-20 amps at the board, so you can get away with pulling higher current at the socket =)
i may just be confusing things now with this electricity stuff now haha -
i vouch for the wt160 weldtech just brought one best welder i have ever brought had a supercheap auto mig before hand

this is how i have been reinforcing the corners and fixing the rust figured it was the easiest way, im not a really good welder so im happy with this

yeah i see the use in the engine coolant lines as a heater, but this way you can have the car not operating and be able to get it all juicy and warm good for ski trips and mid winter jaunts,

these are the units i am looking at, would make up a valve box to direct air to the window demisters, could also add a wireless remote which means warm vehicle before you get in it =) oh and they dont require the engine to run
