  1. ah right.

    so probably crap.

an engineer looked at them and reckoned they could be shimed or have stiffer springs fitted (an option of the PG ) but likened them to adding ali filings to your diff oil, just because you could !!

  2. so was this to suit a Datsun h165, or are we talking a t series Toyota one to mod?

looks like they are available for most makes/model , and very similar design/principal to phantom grip.

only know of one person to buy into the phantom grip sales pitch. apparently did sort of work, but was told to either put a proper lsd in, or weld it up to be certain it would be consistant (rally use TE71 small axle T diff )

  3.

When there's no petrol left a Prius will be a classic that you can still drive,

fuck off i'll be driving a Pryarse,   cool cars will just run like i do........... on a healthy dose of alcohol.

  4. i do my practice on a shitty Scottish thing made of thick steel. once i've worked out how to fix one of the cuntist double-skinned pieces of trash, wifey will have a restored Imp sport, and then i can start on thin cunty rusty Jappo shit or really rusty OZ rot !!

practice shaping on thin gauge but practice welding on thicker gauge until one gets the gist.

get a cheap hammer dolly set for a start and 2 grinders, one as a cutter and one as grinder/stripwheel....... saves chaning discs all the friggen time.

  5. Faster to get to pressure and more flow

really ?? i thought CFM at pump was CFM at pump, and FAD was exactly that.

so if it a 3 cyl 15CFM compressor, then each would be 5 CFM so pressure and flow would be equal to single cylinder 15CFM ??

flow is more dependant on size of delivery plumbing and tool fittings.

  6. what's your budget ?

the belt driven 15cfm ingersoll rand i bought has served me well for over 12 years, this is it's 17cfm brother for similar money:

    here's the one i have:

weak point i have found is the wheels don't like rough ground ( centres break) and they nearly fit through the rear-side window of a VN Commonwhore !

  7. poorly adapted factory bits usually work epic, one dosn't want to over-complicate things too much.

32/36 is probably one of the better options without the expense of a side-draft set-up.

unsure on jetting for your usage, only ever supplied the adaptor and mainfold, or used them on bigger engines without changes.
