if you sell, fire earlier struts into it prior , and sell the wagon ones to the rally lads for good money.
same hub and body as AE86front leg, and common conversion for any RWD rally/race toyota- 1

MPV and sliding doors are cool - or maybe he should get on upmarket version, like Toyota Alphard - apparently that's how they roll in Singapore and thereabouts these days...
Alternatively I hear CHC or South Island in general is the home of good AU coons so...
haha, only good AU is a crushed or derbyed one !!

a good friend of mine wants to spoil her son with an epic ride to his first Formal
is there anyone in CHCH with something special for his arrival ? dosn't need to be classic/hot-rod/ mental, just that she merely has a Mazda MPV, and the young fella deserves better than that.
beers, fuel, abuse for payment

Didn't think we were discussing fuel economy... no-one sensible brings up a conversation like that with these old girls hahaha.
true, but even worserer with the shitty NZ 91 fuel

Very nice.
You'll just have to try it. It really comes down to how much money u want to pour down its throat.
So its coming direct from USA, their fuel is pretty low in octane so you should be right with 91. However you do never really know whats its been run on. Is it a stock runner?
As alltorque mentioned keep an ear out for pinging sounds under load. If it is, u can either bump up to 95 or 98 fuel or take a couple degrees of timing out. Personally id adjust the timing for cheaper fuel if its a stocka..
Choice car... welcome to OS. Keen to see more.
silly cunt piping up here.
have never got decent fuel economy with our 91 with a carb'ed engine, even with timing. always run highest pump octane i could get, usually 95-98 depending on love affair of said vehicle.

The guy said he can hold it for a month or so until I can get free time to come get it. But if you're coming up this way @smokin'joe, I wouldnt say no to it being brought up, saves me a trip down.
He said I'd need a couple guys to lift it though so whether it's just you or not may be tricky.
stinky Tom would be with me, and could rustle up one more if needed.

Will fill my fuel cans to keep me going for a bit tomorrow. I dont use heaps but it is going to be a problem if i cant get it say 20l at a time for a reasonable price.
Autostore are still selling 205l drums, so merely a case of group buying and finding someone with the correct DG storage, or decanting into smaller containers to side step the stoge/DG rules
Sealed Batteries

looks pretty decent, shame about shipping price !!, get it filled with filers or something similar.
whatever you do, don't use the budget marine style ones. they don't seal and are illegal for use, but many scrutineers let them pass
previously, SLA/VRLA batteries were not required to be sealed, and i am one of many who paid the price.
had a non-rusty RWD Toyota (yes, rare !!) rust from the inside out , and requires extensive repairs before next event
