    Was bored in tech class at school the other day so asked the teacher if I could bring it into the workshop to look at/work on, being the gc he is he said yes so  i rode it through the corridors into class and may or may not have lost traction on the Lino floors.....

    Ended up just removing the baffle from the exhaust, sounds better now ;) seems to go quicker or is that just me? Does removing it damage anything? 

     

    I've decided I want to strip the bike completely and paint it, something glossy/shiny. Any ideas or suggestions? 

    I also want to make a half seat for it and move the rear shock mounts up

    Yeah sheepers you're probably right, could be dealer option. I don't have one :( 

     

    OH NO!! here i was thinking it was on this sunday not saturday. :(

    One of the websites I saw it advertised on did say Sunday, but the billboards said Saturday.

  3. Went to the Ashburton Swap meet today.

    The vintage car club opened up their parts shed, so much stuff!

  4. Bought this cheap from TM for a cheap run about/daily. Bought plates for it off Fliboi, so if they look familiar that's why ;)

    Someone had decided that mph were faster so put this sticker on the speedo, good for me coz the dial underneath was still as new

    After it sat in the garage for a few days noticed a puddle of petrol under it  :doubt:

    Surprisingly Yamaha had a replacement fuel tap seal, so that's all fixed now :D

    Block and a piston, needs a good clean and paint. Colour ideas? Notice the condition of oil/compression rings

    I'm surprised it ran as well as it did

    Have new bearings, rings, gaskets, timing chain and clutch plate on their way.

    Started painting the engine bay too
