My recommendation would be to take it to a panel beater to assess and get a letter from them. End of the day it is up to the WOF inspector, so maybe try a different garage {after a wire brush and some rust converter} for a second opinion/ WOF.

Would need to be a hole bigger than 50mm unless it is near a suspension or seatbelt mount.

Cannot have mirror tints unless they are factory. I don’t think a sunroof would be a problem.

Oh, one more thing. When you test drive pay attention to how stiff the suspension is. I found with my Crown Athlete, it handled amazing, but I was over the stiff suspension on long trips. Crown Majesta is V8 and airbag suspension. IS350 is probably sporty/stiff.
