  1. the scissor jacking points on the sills are bent over and have some (what looks like surface) rust on them.

the sills themselves look (and feel) fairly solid - i.e. jacked it up there and didn't crumble or crush any further than the existing damage.

would it be ok just to wire brush and rust treat or do i need to reshape/unbend or whatever else to the original profile for WOF?

lol that reminds me when i used to live a house with the address 2/150. the sender didnt do the / on much of an angle so it kinda (but not really) looked like 21250. now my street did not have anywhere near 21k houses on it, so nz post just dropped it at the last house on the street as if like house number ~300 was close enough to 21250 that it must have been a typo???? that house was a hairdresser who then rang my phone number that was on the parcel.

the hairdresser was a substantially more effective postal service than nz post.

it would be funny if it wasn't true, right. i mean it's not that hard. and just pure lack of effort. nah, cbf, the end of street, let's just dump it there.

and it's insane how often i get my neighbour's mail in my mail box and vice versa (one of 3 flats)

  3. i've had many problems with youshop, they damaged stuff when they opened the boxes (for "inspection) with a box cutter so deep it gouged right into it. or sometimes randomly poke a hole into a box. this happened multiple times.

also, when they get to nz the package is handled by nz post, which also stuffed up multiple times. one time they couldnt find my address (despite clearly printed on it) so they just randomly dropped it off at an address half a street away and denied any wrongdoing. i had to do detective work and find the package myself.

then there is their customer service side things, which is rubbish if anything ever goes wrong.

  4. i liked leaf when i tried a couple of times, but it's too damn large for (my requirement as a second car)

i-miev is just the right size but they are ridiculously expensive for their lack of capability.
