Cheers for the tip. I have now sorted my parts i needed through various sources. Had to get a couple of things from fiat parts NZ, they seemed well priced and friendly enough too.
i think mal does have a lot of body parts etc and - italian auto will probably just do stock parts (mainly mechanical stuff) rather than aftermarket fancy stuff, im guessing.
i'll have a read at your build writeup, looks interesting.

i see x 3 125 parts cars came up on trademe.
x 2 from that place i had a look in hunua - funny that fellow bought them, taking them down all the way to tauranga and selling them within a few months.
hope he cleaned up the car, they were absolutely filthy, covered in bird poo and sitting amongst horse poo etc etc.

This may have been asked, but I am not reading 5 pages. I need a head gasket set, cambelt, water pump, etc for one of these motors, where did you get yours and where do you reccomend?
cheers
i get most of my stuff (new, like head gasket set or used) from italian auto at otahuhu auckland. if i cant get stuff there i go elsewhere but they are local and reasonable in price. ask for glen(n?).

the lamp guards - definitely have that period look going on... you MUST bid! lol
yeah the white one looks like a 125 too, maybe he might sell some parts off that.
the other looks like a ritmo/strada.

possibly more spares for you...

^ doubt it - for a starter she doesn't look anything like that now and she's been in hibernation for the past 3 years in my garage...
He was probably asking azzuro as its his thread
my bad...

hey nice to meet you. thanks for the bits and pieces and hope the door card serves you well.
here is what mine looked like 10 years ago.

PM'd back.
is that door card factory colour scheme? looks odd...
i reckon turquoise interior kicks ass by far.
-
ok i pulled the rear right door card out this morning.
it's actually in better condition than i thought, although i had to drill out one of the door handle screws.

hey all,
have a '68 fiat 125, had for the past 11 years, daily for the first 4 years, now it just sits in the garage =(. got here while searching some fiat 125 stuff, which led to azzurro's build thread.
exciting stuff going on here, lots to take in - good on you guys.

ok - i'll hit you up if i decide to do away with the door card.
it'll be a couple of months at the very least, currently working on another car.
darn, was hoping you had a front bumper...
cheers

i have no spare, sorry - and the one in the car's a bit wobbly anyway, probably sucked up moisture just sitting in the garage. plastic chrome s coming off as well. and i'm pretty sure the plastic snap-on bits are broken too.
i'll probably stick on a sheet of aluminium there when i get around to it - it's a shame cos i do like the turquoise colour.
hey, did you replace the windshield and backglass trim (the stuff that runs in the middle of the rubber), if so, where did you source it from?
cheers

hey i came across your thread by accident, nice buildup and nice thread, mate.
i have the same exterior and interior colour/trim 125, mine is 1968 though - and not at all as nice condition as yours.
i also have ward look-a-like as well as cromodora (CD9, i think) and missing bits and pieces of the car (like bumpers). 2 litre twincam off 132 powers the car.
i havent touched mine for about three years, it's more of a storage for parts at the moment =( and tinworm s doing its thing, i gotta get back into it soon.
anyway good on you, good to see a mint looking 125 out there.
cheers

dude - now im trying to get the fiat going.
anyway, i noticed in your build thread you had some solid blue brake fluid reservoir hose (from autoricambi.us?) then another photo further down the thread it had black braided hose. which one have you got on at the moment?
i have had the black one for the past 4 years and looks like the fluid seemed to have permeated through and leaked all over master cylinder.
