Depends on the car, some are on the buckle end, some are in the retractor, but either way still has to function
If it's at the buckle end and integral to the seat then I'm pretty much out of luck eh?

what do people do with seat belt pre-tensioners when putting aftermarket seats?

like that "no vdub" plate

budget dashcam grab so pardon the poor quality...
shame i couldn't get a footage of a moron prius driver on the way back from tauranga - for some reason the driver kept on moving over to right hand lane as soon as passing lanes appear, driving 90 kph or so and not passing anyone...

Reckons he does about 500km then fills up, works out at 13L per 100km. Green rocker cover = factory lpg
Hmmm that's not bad - I'm guessing it's LPG only, not dual fuel. I do love the smell of LPG exhaust btw...

I am seeing a mate tonight who has a bit of a collection going on, he has a couple of lpg ones he would sell if you are interested I will ask.
Not sure if I'm keen on LPG being a lazy man I am - what are the ranges on those? Are they factory jobs? Cheers

Ford said they spent 1 billion dollars developing the AU
some say they should have spent 2.
maybe they spent all of those 1 billion bucks on the exterior design - they got that part right bang on...

EA1 is what you need.
Probably a bit too old - and if I wanted an old one I know what I'd go for - XA!

Or is BA with Barra a better choice engine-wise - they look pretty dull compared to AU though, but looks aren't everything...

I think it's pretty car - especially on the outside, with this front...

In slightly more helpful but still as serious commentary.
They rot from the inside out but have an OK diff and a fairly reliable motor (if a 6) They're thirsty and shit though.
...and heinous.
Can't be as thirsty as v8?
And is the heinous comment in regards to the engine?

Wagons in general are awesome but might be a tad too long for the garage. I've never had a ute so I could try that but also depending on the length - in fact I'd better check the garage dimensions first.
I think I'd be happy with a 6 but there is something about v8 thing...

So they are good looking cars, aren't they - the impulsive buyer in me wants to buy one (I haven't looked at TM yet 'cos that impulsive buyer will probably find something he likes and click buy now without thinking much).
Would the learned ones of the forum spill their wisdom and hopefully prevent otherwise another impulse purchase and subsequent and inevitable drainage in my bank account and heartache???
Cheers.

Easy enough to bring a car over. Getting it on the road can be another story. For registration purpose, you need original registration documents.
is that just ex-aussie cars or any imports? seems over the top...

is there much involved in bringing a car from aussie?

So what's the deal with WOF inspection up to 2 weeks prior to expiry is allowed without bringing forward the next expiry date in case of pass?
I don't see the point of it???

Unexpired WOF is still valid, though vehicle safety and legality to operate on the day still falls on the operator, regardless of WOF status.
So if a cop pulls me over and runs WOF check, it should be still cool then?
What about insurance cover?
Cheers

If I take a car for WOF well before its expiry and it fails, is the car legal or not?
