  1. ..... and finished off the front half this afternoon. ...
  2. We decided to close this week and have a decent break so I have been plumbing up the brakes. Made up lines across the rear axle and finished up making a line up to the hydraulic handbrake. Took way too long but it's not a job you can rush..
  3. and proceeded to fit up the passenger door.
  4. Evening all, I looked at importing some door cards from the UK but found that Ross at Autosport Upholstery was cheaper with an equally good product. I picked these up from him yesterday.
  5. With the last decent weekend for a while I thought I'd push this outside to get some pics and give the shed a good sweep out.. liking the look in the sun..
  6. Been really busy at work so not much progress lately, however I have started assembling the doors last night.
  7. 5 minutes of minor machining of the crush tube and hey presto !
  8. To give the rear suspension a little help. I found some heim joints that would fit into the front of my 2 link arms. So when the diff is at full bump on one side and full droop on the other the arms won't bind up with the solid rubber bushes it did have.
  9. Was fitting some heim joints to a car at work recently and had a brilliant idea.
  10. Big thanks to Paul and Richard at Plastic Constructions in Avondale for supplying me a new set of legal polycarbonate windows. Awesome guys to deal with and perfect products.
  11. Small steps this week. Sourced some nice black mesh to go behind the front panel
  12. Right front suspension assembled. Will have to probably remove the castor bar and trim some of the end to get more castor. But I'll wait till I do a wheel alignment to see how everything is. But hard to get a good pic but you get the idea.
  13. Tonight's mission was mounting the caster bar brackets/ bumper irons. Got them all mounted and trial fitted the front 1/4 bumpers. Actually fitted up quite nicely so they can stay on. Also managed to get some satin black onto the front panel behind the grille.
  14. Big job ticked off. Chassis plate mounted back onto shell.
  15. Planning on trying to get one job done every night... So last night a fitted up the front x-member.
  16. This is the part I really enjoy about a rebuild, apart from driving it ..
  17. Started with fitting a few small parts before I removed all the slave suspension.
