  3. Evening everyone. Big day today as the little Pug disappeared on the tow truck it arrived on only 8 weeks ago.. Off to Fastrack Compliance in Glenfield. Fingers crossed its all good..
  4. I ordered a nice intake kit off Trademe via China and this turned up today. Spent a few hours making it fit nicely and finished it off tonight. Happy with the result.
  5. Back to work on the 106 and getting it ready for compliance. Last thing on the list is the intake. It came with a horrible exhaust tubing mod , so in the bin that went.
  6. Sourced some new rear discs as they were already undersize before I thought about machining them. Very reasonably priced too... $100 the pair. Hit me up if you need some. Added an engine flush and ran it up to temp before I drained out the old oil and replaced the filter. New drivebelt on. Not too much to show tho in the pic dept.
  7. While sorting out the brakes, i thought I'd give the wheel arches a bit of a clean.
  8. Offered up the 205 Speedlines... Not quite the right size tyre but I think they'll look great.
  9. Lots more progress today in the workshop in between paying customers.... Cambelt kit and waterpump replaced. Cooling system flushed, thermostat replaced. Front brake rotors machined... Slowly getting it ready for compliance.
  10. Back at work for the night. Next on the list is to do the cambelt and water pump. But that's it for now.
  11. So it's just finished baking in the booth. Doors opened and time to take the masking off.
  12. Final prepsol and it's time for some colour...
  13. Hopefully this will be painted tomorrow...
  14. Friday home after our road trip.. I couldn't help myself and called by the paintshop. Brought the cam covers home to assemble. Some Friday evening French porn for them people that are into this kind of thing...
  15. And as he had some paint in his gun....
  16. The cam covers were looking pretty average with the paint lifting and the bare alloy starting to corrode. So I decided to remove and strip them. Stripped the breather plates and blasted them too.
