So I picked this unfinished Galant up off a guy in Palmerston North a month or so ago.

 

Essentially its a 2/3rds finished project with a CD5A 4g93t 1.8L motor from a GSR installed, mated up to a 2.0L Sigma Gearbox.

 

The bare bones are there, although there is still a wee bit of fabrication and problems to tackle. The cooling system is the current focus, I've got a thread going in the Tech section trying to figure out if what am I am proposing is correct.

 

It has a new interior, using some evo 1 seats and a recovered fabric rare seat. Adjustable suspension in the front, reset leaves in the rear. The hotwires and toyo proxies are cool, but obviously a little wide without flares fitted - something I'd like to avoid if possible.

 

So the list in order (yeah right) :

 

Radiator installed and cooling system finished

Intercooler mounted and piping

Wire it up

Replace brake lines, master and refurbish drums

Custom made sump (the standard one is far too low)

Cert, Warrant, Profit.

 

All going to plan that is.
