lownslow
So got bored and needed something to tinker round on. I was after an old Datsun ute (1200 or 521) but this popped up and was complete. After a few texts to the owner and him not wanting to budge on price, his Mrs had finally had enough of it sitting round, so he gave in. Plans at this stage are getting it running sweet, sort the brakes, lower and probably widen the steelies at this stage. The stud pattern is 5x110, same as volvos and some saabs apparently. Holden torana wheels fit as well (5x108) Anyway pictures.

lownslow
So tried some 14x8 widened steelies on her. Going to be a bit of work, but keen to get them fitting. 165/55r14 tyres will probably be the size I'll go for. Got it running as well. Runs absolutely mint, no smoke or rattles. Just have to find someone in Brisbane wrecking an old 626 now, so I can steal the brake setup and wheels.
lownslow
Finally started rubbing this back. Going for an original looking clean up in the style of an old garage/workshop ute. White with some 70s Mazda decals etc. sounds shit but will look the business
lownslow
Laid a bit of colour down today. Bit shiny for my taste but hopefully will dull a bit. Keeping all the dents in it too.
