NZCarFreak's 1987 Toyota Corona VX Coupe

Hi everyone, you may remember me as the Flickr photographer with the brown Fiat 128 who posts on here sporadically. Unfortunately the 128 will be sold soon due to rust issues I can't/am loathe to fix. As a replacement I have gone JDM and bought something I don't recall ever seeing another example of (something I couldn't say about the 128!)

It's a 1987 Toyota Corona 2.0 VX Coupe, ST162 model, which is basically a Celica notchback sold only in Japan to continue the line of Corona coupes that had always run alongside the Celica. For some reason Toyota Japan decided that the only Celica badged models they were going to sell in the JDM for this generation were the liftback and convertible. It was imported in 1994 and has only done 196,000 kms from new.
