So. I have had for a while now my baby, 1986 Volvo 360GLT. A while ago I had plans of +T ing the old girl, then one day she developed a knock so out came the motor, and my build began. At first I was just gonna drop in a B200FT high pressure 2L turbo,figured if I'm gonna do it, might as well go to a 2.3 turbo, so started scavenging parts for that. A while later I came across a B234 dohc head.

So now I was going to build a 2.3 dohc turbo. As I started doing the wiring a mate of mine, came across a 1jz for his supra, and thus had a total of 4 spare sets of supra turbos off all his 1g motors. So I got to thinking.....

2.3L twin cam twin turbo 360.

Wheels and suspension:

Nolathane rear leaf bushes

1.5 inch blocks

Falcon wagon rear shocks with springs over top (absolutely no movement, perfect for track)

Standard up the front, except 3" spacers

17x7 multi 4 stud wheels all round

Plans:

For cert I will need to go to Sierra disc brakes on the rear

Will be going MR2 front springs

Perhaps do something about more lock

Engine and drivetrain:

Will have a 2.3L Twin cam twin turbo (CT12s)

Transaxle can handle up to 300hp so if I tune and upgrade I will need to go to Porsche 928 transaxle

Interior:

Fold out DVD player

Playstation

8x 4" speakers

Kenwood 7x10s

Soundstream T4-12 sub

Soundstream EGA900D amp

2x other 4 channel amps

Rare volvo 360 tunnel console gauges with boost and another undecided gauge

Will look at getting a glass panel sunroof

Exterior:

Golf mk1 front lip

Pearl white respray

BMW E30 mirrors perhaps

360 GLT and 360 GL rear spoilers

My plan is to have a tidy little rocket that looks sleeper, but also with a hint of rice, like most civics, but not as stupid..
