hulse12 Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 well for a start the escorts are gone nd sold off all the parts I had. moved onto smaller nd better things.. since the escort left I ended up getting a 323 wagon.. that I then sold off the rims nd started going nuts at throwing money at wags, then found a lil hatch rolling body on trademe for a fairish price.. told the guy ild come down nd check it out nd bring the trailor 'just incase'... ended up coming home with da boys cholo n padg balln all the way from Hamilton with a tang on the trailor nd mr cholos new bike on the ute from there engine got ripped out of wagon.. wagon went on tard rolling body. think its sold now (pending payment) engine got thrown into hatchy, everything got fixed that needed it plus more as you do. abit of money later I am up to here will bomb more pics as I progress.. doing front stud conversion atm. then handbrake cable to suit the bluebird discs on rear. then wof/reg time love n hate welcome discuss here. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/39787-hulses-323-hatch/ 5 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hulse12 Posted September 5, 2013 Author Share Posted September 5, 2013 well.. drove into town for a tune. got it all tuned while I was at work and the tuner was test driving and the diff decided to lock up on him and wouldn't budge. had to get all the bros to help me out, dragged it with my ute to his workshop leaving two black marks the whole way. then decided to trailor it back to mine since the work was 'done'.. ripped the car onto trailor with winch and lifting somehow with the bros helping out. took about 30-60mins.. then got it home took about the same to get it off. biggest mish ever. pulld diff to see that pinion bearing had shat itself. upon taking the diff apart we found this.. good old b1600 lsd. luckily only bearings need to be done. then.. the guy that tuned it stripped one of my threads for the jet so petrol leaks like crazy outa the carb. woo and it makes some rattle noise when I turn it off??? any idea hit it in the discussion. I now need anyone to help me out with the torque setting for b1600 lsd if anyone knows a site where to find them that would be mint! box of beers later and bearing and my diff should be done!! chur 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hulse12 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Share Posted March 13, 2014 all back on the road! was in such a big rush to get it all done for japfest but then used all my gas money the nights before it haha. done about 500kms on new rebuild engine nd gearbox, running like a dream gearbox has some noise but drives so that's all im worried about! stoked as, heres a few pics on new mods/195's. loving it, apart from one cop that wasn't when it was just straight extractors sat night ha! got off the pinky luckily! will chuck up a running vid when someone tells me how.. photobucket wont let it happen? let me knw what u think. cheers 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
