So yeah, bought a Mini.

1975 Mini Clubman

1100cc with 4 speed manual

Plans:

WoF and Reg

Respray it back to it's factory orange

Paint wheels Old English White and possibly chrome center hubs

Tidy up the interior (new carpet, soundproofing, headliner and dash)

Well fuck, have I got myself into some serious shit.

 

Took it for a WoF today and the outcome is:

 

Windscreen isn't completely secure and leaks hard (just needs re-fitting and filling I believe)

Both stop light aren't working (Bulbs possibly)

R/F wheel bearing needs replacing (Shouldn't be too hard)

Windscreen jets need to be installed (Easy peazie)

Headlights are out of focus (Ehhh)

Rear shocks are goneburgs (Shouldn't be too hard)

Rear wheel cylinder retaining clips are missing (Easy)

Front subframe is bent (Fuck)

Horn isn't working (Have a spare one)

 

So yeah, if anyone has access to the above part, then let me know.

So I finally jacked the car up to see where the damage was:

 

This is under the front left guard:

 

 

And this is the subframe on the left hand side:

 

 

So I have sourced a second hand subframe in good nick, and the rest of the WoF stuff I still need to do.
