hey guys i bought a set of dellorto dhla40 carbs to rebuild for my wagon, in the process of stripping them down ive made a major bollocks and broken one of the heads on the idle mixture screw, i was wondering if anyone has had this issue before in christchurch and how they have fixed it? any suggestions for a place where i can take the body to get repaired? or i could be interested in buying a bare carb body if anyone has one spare?

Cheers

Sam

I've had the same thing happen to me.

Webber specs in Auckland sorted it out (it was about 15 years ago though)

They did a good job, I never had problems with them again.

It won't cost you much to courier it up and back.

If your in Chch might be worth asking the guys at Palmside they have quite a good workshop set up and deal with these carbs everyday.

Yeah palmside was my first guess too, will give them a buzz tomorrow and see if they can point me in the right direction, hopefully not to expensive.
