Guest M_C Posted March 14, 2013 Share Posted March 14, 2013 Slowly working on getting the Green Meanie up to log book status and back on the road. On the (long) list is windscreen wipers. I’ve pulled out the original wiring loom as it was a bit of a hazard and just rewired the basics back in to get to track days. Wiring for lights etc still to be done. The car came with most of the original Escort windscreen wiper system, but maybe this is a good time to upgrade? Had a search around but not much came up. Anyone upgraded some old school (read marginally effective) windscreen wipers? It would be easier just to get the missing nuts packers for the outside and wire up the old system but I figure the Mk1 Escort windscreen wipers may not be the last work in effectiveness… Looking for tips on how to do it and sources please.
