**Bored Saturday Update**

So I decided to take the passenger door off because I had previously taken it off and forgot to put a screw back in.

Usually I wouldnt care, but it was leaking water through the top of the door (wasnt sealed completly sealed).

I decided this time I would attempt to take the guard off so I would have better access to the door nuts.

So ended up like this:

Then it stated to rain so chucked the wheel back on and got it under the deck:

Bolted the door fully on and made sure it fully shut.

While I was at it, I remembered WoF man telling me about the front lip/spoiler thingy needing to be sanded and painted:

So did that, and this is the end result:

Only Green I had was fluro, so I though that Black would be more appropriate ( better than Dark Rust Green :P)

And re-installed:

**Silly Update**

So the plan for the exterior now is to update it with some chrome, I started with these number plate lights.

And the numberplate surrounds as shown.

Next I will be laying a chrome strip across the side trims and bumpers (if I cant find chrome bumpers), and then just see how I go from there.

Also got some Datsun fender mirrors on order, so hopefully they will fit OK.

**Pictureless update soz.**

So yeah, still waiting for the Work's to arrive, and then need to sort tyres and 25mm spacers.

Also incoming WoF in January so need to fix the following:

+ Fix passenger door rust (massive)

+ Fix rust underneath the hatch

+ May need to raise the ride height back up for WoF

So yeah, lots to do in the New Year.

**UPDATE**

In a bit of a rage right now.

Needed the following for WoF:

+ Front to back brake line replaced

+ 4 New tires (have them)

+ F/R Strut leaking (second hand one obtained)

+ Wiper blades (easy)

So I got him to make up the Brake line, chuck the tires on and replace the F/R strut = $486...

Yeah holy fuck, checking the invoice I was given, $225 was on labour eek.

At least I have a WoF now though.

**Plans from here**

I am contemplating either keeping the car original as possible (bar suspension), or start with some engine mods (extractors, carbs etc.) Cant decide.

Yay some pics! So I've prepared myself for when the Work Equip 01's arrived (which should be the start of March according to Hayatonka)

Also, WoF sticker :)

Well what do we have here

KP60Nick and I made it our misson to pick our wheels up today with great success!

DSCF5022.jpg

His looked mint (pre-polished even), however mine were quite ridden with corrosion and JDM spiders.

I semi cleaned one up and heres the result:

Just need to give it a bit more of a sand and they should be sweet.

Also, cheers Louis:

**Super Saturday Update**

So today I sought out to get some new tires and spacers.

Picked up a mixed set of tires, 155/65/13.

Up on the hoist:

I reckon they look great, haven't put the spacers on yet as I need to get hub centric rings that fit:

Need to drop the front by another 2 inches, and 1 inch off the back.

Hopefully I can get the centric rings on Monday, then I will get pics up.

Alrighty, I managed to get the front down about an inch.

Hub centric rings (60.1mm) arrived so I also popped the spacers on.

P.S, these pics are grose, but I only had my phone on me.

Well yeah, more low thanks to KP60Nick and myself.

Dropped the rear by another inch, and now it's exactly where I want it.

Just need a little more off the front.

And also thanks to Nick, I have a boot that stays open without the need of a stick!

Also swapped the grill off Nick's ute, looks a ton better.

And nice Panoramic of today's work.
