will i am Posted January 6, 2013 Author Share Posted January 6, 2013 a none foto update sori had the last two weeks off work didnt get as much done as i would off hopped but thats life found the correct driveshaft yoke, fitted to ex driveshaft with new universal joint cleaned the carpets and adjusted seat rails on wrx seats to fit better wired up sounds blead brakes and clutch line got a e8000 fuel pump. going to get a surge tank, already got a low pressure pump. was hopping to house it all in a metal box to prevent smell and damage to lines etc any one got ideas on this sort off style set up? also whats the best way to wire up a high pressure and low pressure pump? will i am Posted February 1, 2013 Author Share Posted February 1, 2013 finaly orded bearings from acl for my engine, hope to see them by wednesday mate came round on sunday and we fitted the windscreen, fitted chrome tirm bought some more goodies plans for these are to get them tig welded by a decent engineer so they pass cert and to have camber adjustment still need to cut 60mm out the body bought a house so trying to get shit done quicker now, down to 5 cars from 7 haha thats a start have a funny fealing this will be getting shifted on a trailer along with my parts dx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
will i am Posted February 6, 2013 Author Share Posted February 6, 2013 got my new bearings on monday, only problem is they sent .25 over size for mains so got the standards on the way. decided to fit rod bearings got bored so sprayed some culture also finally finshed doing the Head on the farther inlaws 4m40t pajero down to 4 cars now. driveway looks empty but gona keep it that way (happy wife = happy life) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
will i am Posted February 12, 2013 Author Share Posted February 12, 2013 got some time in the garage a few nights done some genuine shopping. that shit aint cheap but atleast you know its right first time haha so used a 35mm frost plug to blank off the balance shaft (with a good coating around it with cement gasket) new crank and oil pump seals, o-ring new stub shaft which happened to be the last one in the country..... sweet bearings all in and torqued down front cover and oil filter assembly on looks the part IMO with out balance shafts looking for my missing spacer for the tensioner/idler. know its in the garage somewere Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

will i am Posted May 29, 2015 Author Share Posted May 29, 2015 post seem to be getting longer and longer apart finally done the driveshaft hoop and had a good chat to the cert man new rules with brake lines running down the driveshaft tunnel, which means i had a choice of another D HOOP at the rear or relocate brake line since i relocated brakeline into cabin and back out it has to be covered. nothing fancey. found some scrap in the workshop that worked out good ex parked up sunday avo at work monday morning also got a new toy GTST always wanted one and the price was right haha 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
