Dear OS. Kelvins old Mark II . Is now my car. HERES HOW.

First. Buy plane tickets from Dunedin to hamilton. Like so,

Buy car. Get wof. Drive for 4 days. Meet OS GC's every step of the way. Like so,

Get home. And sleep for a few days to catch up. Then Decide to stay late at work on a friday to do some car shit. Like so,

Then beach it 3 times getting from work to home.

I don't really need to say to much as everyone knows the car well enough.

All ive done is chuck on a new front bumper and valance with standard x70 lip.

Slam. And wheels. Cool? KEWL.

Lasted 2 weeks at slammed height. Then it finally happened.

Cop was really good though. Thought it was funny how low it was and how much it sparked all over his car.

Didn't fine me. Changed the time i had to be off the road cause he was a GC.

Cert time bitchs.

So after alot of money and messing around i finally got green sticker removed by replacing the whole exhaust, and pritty much every suspension part in the old girl.

No pics due to this being the lamest update ever. Now rolling stock standard. Good one. :/

So. In the future

1ggte + Blitz piggyback - have.

slam with good suspension - have.

Wheels + more rim width on rear - have

Fender mirrors and factory mirrorless doors - have.

Money - Wont/don't have. Good one Antony.

So going to get this on the road. Started this week by sitting on a lathe and tidying up my wheels with wider shells.

Going to get her wof'd and reg'd, drive for a little bit then motor,box and bigger diff in.

Also going to swap in the sunroof out of the other car if its possible. Tips? /go talk to a panelbeater?

So started pulling parts off the rusty car.

This mornings job, front guards with fender mirrors.

Last guards were rolled heaps. These are strandard, im after that clean look.

Droped off tonight to get wired. New intercooler pipes made up, power steering hooked up. Talked about single turbos also. Its possible. Pick up late next week as they are busy busy.

Doubt this thing will get cert. Am going to try get around it by traveling to nicer people.

Camber mod'ed the rear crossmember by using the factory toe "ecentric" bolts off the spare t series crossmember. worked mint. just had to change a bush. 

 

Have turbo feed line being made up tomorrow. Pick it up at 2. Got to sort out turbo drain still. 

 

Needs: 2 drive shaft hoops. 
cooler piping 
radiator mounted better and a couple fans.
exhaust.

suspension. 

plan on halfing the list this week before exhaust gets made next week. Progress..

spent most of the day on this today.

Mounted cooler in between radiator and bumper. fits mint behind the grill. Just ordered the last of the pipework and joiners so they will most likely be here monday 
That completes the cooler and pipework.

ordered the oil drain flange, hoping that turns up tomorrow so i can go get drain hose and mod the block end to suit. then that is the turbo side of things done.

Fans arrived. How the heck do i wire fans up? Im assuming i can find the original fan wire on the loom and just splice them into that? /probably wrong. help?

 

Need to sort out driveshaft hoopdeloops. No idea where in town to go for that. Kind of want to leave that till after exhaust is made i think.

Done using a spare t series subframe, lots of toyotas have ecentric bolts from factory. Just use these. this is how i did my crossmember.

Then change the outer trailing arm bush to fit the thicker toe bolt. i tryed to find the bush i used but couldnt, just go into autoline and ask for a 65LONGx52mmODx14mmID WITH CRUSH TUBES.

i had to trim 5mm off the end on my bush to get one to fit. From an f100 if i remember right.

These are for mitch/future reference.

Thermo housing, there is another under the dizzy also. Do the same. There is a metal water line that runs along under the standard turbo's, you wont need this if you blank these 2 water oulets off. 
I simply snapped mine off as it is very badly brazed to the other metal line under there.. i bent it back and forward twice and it snapped off.

Oil return. I just got another turbo oil drain flange as it fitted perfectly onto the standard oil return pipe..
And blank off the rearward return hole. Piece of piss.

Engine bay is fully plumbed. just need a couple T-clamps so i can start her up.

Moved up to Christchurch from cold Dunedin. A+ 

Going to rip out turbo motor and box and sell off soon.

N/A 1GGEU/ 6 Speed will be the new setup.

Currently 14x9 -25  14x10 -38 SSR mk1 with random junk tyres.  And some skinny ssr mk3 to widen later on.

Bought 1gfe 6 Speed box already. Some custom stuff to do but it can be done.

So if anyone is after a Single turbo 1ggte setup with w55 then pm me. Will Trade for a GA70 1ggeu etc.
