rupert Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Just finished putting a 1500cc sohc engine in a Mazda 323 wagon RWD, when i get into high revs i hear a tapping sound, could this just be loose tappets? I tighened a few up and im pretty sure the tapping is quieter but not entirely sure, any ideas as to other things it could be? Also does anyone know the valve clearances for the inlet / exhaust I seem to remeber they are .25 / .30 does that sound right? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
