rforge
Discussion viewtopic.php?f=18&t=25067 Brought my ke30 a few months ago, standard except spitties, not the tidiest, paid a bit much for it but was set on it after seeing it so what can ya do. Blew the 3k up pretty smartly and brought the ca18det, went with the ca for easy power relatively cheaply, other option was a lexus v8 the old man had spare, turbo on that would've been mean but a bit scary ha, thatll be the next project Aim for the car is to get it running i next couple months with 250+ hp building to 300, sort rear suspension set up get that stiff as, sort brakes, get cert and use it as a daily as well as track days and of course smash out a 1/4 mile time. Then tidy up interior/exterior when everything else is done. Car has been of the road for 3 months now so far have put the hilux diff in, perfect width without having to shorten, yus. Have Ca engine and box mounted as well as driveshaft, all sits miiint. Have masive alloy radiator, perfect fit and FMIC mounted tidy as will have crazy short piping, barely noticable. Have a s/s top mount, gt28rs dual ball bearing garret turbo, custom loom to put in, have evo3 510cc injectors in, sr20de throttle body, greddy bov. Parts still needed: 38mm external gate, fuel system (pump, reg, line, surge tank), front calipers (s13 s14 gtst cef), brake lines hoses etc including handbrake, sr20de tps 100 other things that don't come to mind Work needed: Flange on mani t3>t2, modify dump pipe to suit top mount, brakes sorted, loom put in (help needed!), FMIC piping, rear leaves reset/stiffened, front strut brace, turbo lines and more.. One day .. Panel and paint, tidy up interior [
