MR1200 Posted July 2, 2010 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Hey guys got a problem with my GX61 Chaser, last week all warning lights came on and alternator packed a shit. Ive replaced the alternator and its charging the battery fine, but all warning lights are still staying on and when car isnt used it is draining the battery for some reason. im fucken shit with electronics, last time i tried to wire in a stereo it caught fire, so i was wondering if anyone here knows what it could be or what is doing it? R100 Posted July 2, 2010 Share Posted July 2, 2010 Thats a real strange fault. If all you did was replace the alternator i would be guessing its something to do with that. Did you replace the alternator with the exact same alternator ? Are all the dash lights staying on while the car is running. Are all the dash lights staying on while the key is out of the ignition ? MR1200 Posted July 3, 2010 Author Share Posted July 3, 2010 dash lights are off with no key only on while cars running its not the sAme alternator its from a 1geu mines a 1g its not all the warning lights tho its fuel,charge,radiator,exaust,wiper fluid and rear lights those are the ones that are staying on?????
