Thought its about time i put up my project

any way my name is hogan im 17 and this is my first car

I bought this mk2 about 2 years ago for $300 (sorry no pics of it at da start but i can promis she was quite ruff) so i bought da escort with a plan of just tiding it up a little and putting and just tickling up da little 1100 but some where along the line this plan when out da window and I have put quite alot of work into it and only recently got it on the road.

First step was panel and paint trough a friend so it sat for a while

Then dad managed to get me it a 1600 cross flow with high compression pistons, lightened every thing. formula ford dizzy and valve springs, extremly ported maifold and webber dual chock down draught should b 115+hp

Had'nt expected such a pretty engine so we then had to tidy the engine bay up to accomidate it

Road ready

First oldskol run and some new stripes

Planes for the future lower it stiffen up so it handels better, get some new carpets and just drive it as much as possible.
