onejayzed
Hey guys, I'm new here, new to oldschool cars aswell. They're so much easier to work on! Anywaty, I just brought my latest project from Joe (Flange on here), my DX. I don't have many plans for it at this stage, it needs to be recomplied so I'm just working on that at the moment. Thanks to Joe most of the rust is outties, still a wee bit here and there but it's hidden. So far all it's had is tints and a paint job, I've got a new leather interior to go in when I can be bothered, and it needs to be slammed pretty badly, it's so high I'm suprised I don't find homeless people sleeping underneath it. Engine is mint, runs all good (4k). I'm thinking about a 5k head and twin carbs but we'll see. I've also got an S14 SR20DE+T project going so progress on both is cut in half. Here's some pics of it so far, after spending a couple of hours digging it out of Joe's garage and putting the doors back on... Before the mattey b: And after the mattey b... Will post more pics as they happen.
onejayzed
I thought my project was lacking something (aside from choppies), me and (mostly) the mrs spent most of thismorning punisherifying my bonnet, turned out looking tough as fuck. Here's the results. Here's my gf doing a few touch ups And almost done, got a few minor things to finish. THose marks aren't overspray, just general shit from being outside (I live in wainui *cough*)
onejayzed
Couple of updated pics of the paintwork... Bonnet back on, pretty happy with it, worth the effort. And the other stencil on the back, pretty rubbish pic but I can't be fucked taking another. It looks pretty badass. I'm gonna tackle the interior today (I've been saying that for days now) so I'll have more pics later tonight.
