tiger_dime Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 Well after parting ways with my silvia last year I have felt the itch for a manual and a new car to play with, the hilux surf is meanbad in its own right but it doesnt handle and is auto.... Its had a respray in "Tiger Gold" which isnt my favourite but it does the job for now, although there was minimal prep work done before the respray, so there is a bit of rust in a few places. The plan is to eventually do a bare metal respray in matt beige with some nice ssr mesh rims, with alot of extra goodies and an SR of some description, but for now shes just for putzing around town in. Its the original engine, and a 5 speed gearbox, dont know what from, has an sss dash and the recaro seats that I put in, replacing the horrible monza fixed buckets from the PO, and a momo steering wheel.
