yokonikero Posted February 4, 2009 Author Share Posted February 4, 2009 well got some new wheels a couple weeks ago. mmmmm dish was thinking about turboing my 4age for a while, but then got offered a very good n/a set up with twin carb's and wat not. so i am going to have a look at it this w.e. and will prob end up running that. so all going well will have that in nd running within a month. with my new wheels and my car being so low i am getting quite a bit of guard rubbing on my drivers side because of my panhard rod flatting out to adjust for the height. does any one have any suggestions on what i should do with out going adjustable panhard?? cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
yokonikero Posted February 17, 2009 Author Share Posted February 17, 2009 hello all, so in the w.e i took my car into work to use the tractor bucket to pull the engine out for new owner. made it so easy using the bucket and have the massive shed. anyways the engine is out and i have the new engine sitting in my garage waiting for a backing plate. also getting a adjustable panhard made up this week. so i can drive on my 9's without rubbing. then off to Reo for guard tidy up. im getting a thread put on my caster arms aswell. what sorta caster do you guys suggest running? any ways pics from the w.e below and seeing as no one will buy them i put sum more tires on my equips and im keeping them as skid wheels. hahaha Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

yokonikero Posted March 15, 2009 Author Share Posted March 15, 2009 so the weather was good today and chris (cheater5) had been on my ass to paint it the roof and do more stripes ever since he saw it. good weather and all got the paint out here is watt it turned out like, pretty happy with it. i also had some problems with the oil overflow and a blocking a hole in the carb manifold that is not needed. so i fixed the leak by jamming a golf tee in the hole. haha and got a uber cool lion red oil catch bottle. haha so maori but it dus the job so im not fussed cos it cost me nothing. also sooo stocked with how engine goes. very good fun. cheers Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

On a more serious note, the 2JZGE! and i pulled this big cunt off. No power steer for me! (saves me going to the gym haha). it weighs at least 8kg!! also did some other things today. . . Adjustable Stearing colum Put a steel plate on top of my strut tower as a bit of support, (had to drill holes out quite a bit) will weld on when i get a chance. yokonikero Posted August 8, 2009 Author Share Posted August 8, 2009 ive done a little . . . -rear suspension is sorted, ae86 BC shocks with falcon springs with a slight pre-load. -driveshaft is in and right length -have cable tied the bumper skin in for the mean time. -mounted oil cooler/cut hole in grill so lines come thru there. (it mounted below the front bumper) -got some new fog light bulbs, real bright yellow/orange ish color also got some HID's -bought a clutch and flywheel set up 6kg lighter than factory -painted some stuff pink will be getting some paint for the car itself in the next few days and hopefully get it off to be painted SOON!! these are the only two recent pics i have of it . . . *still have to do rocker covers, strut brace, maybe alt and maybe the top cover for the carbs* Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
