here it is, a bit of history first

i baught it like this 18 months ago as a 1.6 laser

did a bit of bodywork, changed the engine for a 2.0 and painted it about 6 months ago

then i decided i didnt like the colour so i painted it again a couple of weeks ago, i've had it for 18 months now and i only got it road worthy last week

its fun to drive but it needs more go, i've had the pinto turbo planned since i got the car i just didnt get round to doing it, but now i've got some more spare time and i want to crack on with it, before i put the 2.0 engine in i made a manifold, here is as far as i got

all i really need to know now is can i use my weber carb with the turbo and what to do about the ignition timing

i have scoured the english forums but there is very little info on this and everyone says convert to efi, but i really want to keep my carb, even if i have to make it suck through

anyway, what do you all think?
