OK MAD UP DATE, 1981 GX51 CRESTA GOT MY MOTOR 1GGZE WHICH IM GOING TO BE RUNNING A TDO4E AND LINK COMPUTER, MOTOR IS IN A STATE OF BEING BUILT. MADE UP COILOVERS FOR THE FRONT AND RAN THEM UNTIL SOMETHING VERY STRANGE HAPPENED IN THE FORM OF THE SHOCKS BENDING WTF! SO NOT SURE WHAT IM GANA DO WITH THAT YET.

IN THE REAR IVE CURRENTLY GOT TRD SHOCKS AND CUT SPRINGS BUT WILL GET AROUND TO HAVE SOME CUSTOM REAR SPRINGS MADE UP

NEW WHEELS AND TYRES RUN DUNLOP DZ1O1 UP FRONT AND GRID 3 IN THE REAR 14X6.5 AND 14X7. THATS ALL FOR NOW A FEW PHOTOS FOR YA'S TO HAVE A LOOK AT

Ok motor and box out of car pulled the gearbox off to inspect the clutch and got a suprise along the lines of a lightened fly wheel and TRD clutch Yay, also it has a short shift kit as well. Started with the single turbo conversion going to make up a y pipe from the factory manifold which makes out for less work and basically the same gains. Thats all for now

what a weekend of progress,

Pulled out shitty old 1geu (RIP may you never under power anything again) on saturday as well as water blasting the engine bay motor and gearbox.

Today put the 1ggte found its new home in the cresta engine bay all wired up power steering sorted and test fired the engine up and it ran!

Huge thanks to mr dori, evan and uterus for all there help

ok ive been super lazy with my project up dates so ive got a bit 2 catch up on

*1ggte engine in

*bc ae86 coil overs all round

*y pipe made and heat wrapped

* exhaust made by mr muffler he did an awesome job for a good price

*w58 gearbox

*all wiring done bar a few gauges

now ill i need is a wof

well its now got a wof, took it away for new years put 1000k on it unfortunately the clutch didn't hold up to the task. The clutch is mush and pressure plate was cracked in a couple places.

So new 4 puck PWR clutch going in tomorrow hopefully it should do the job.

Also new diff even if it is a locker that will help with sideways action

little up date photos 2 follow, fixed over heating problem by spacing out radiator from intercooler fixing fan and removing thermosate. Mounted up bucket seat as ill be taking it to a few drift days soon including this weekend ftw.

will post picts of drift day maybe even some videos

plans for near future

*upgrade fuel system

*rcas

*new sub frame bushes

*camber mod to rear sub frame

*s13 camber plates so i can get more camber

*strut brace

*half cage also a possibility

update time, made up a front strut brace from s/s looks and works sweet. oh and a stripped out interior weight reduction lol.

wheel alignment was all 2 f**k so had that seen to handles like a completely different car also added some new wheels nothing to fancy they are only 14x8 and 14x8.5 -13 and -19 offset f**kn mint work equips looks sick as. rite photo time
