Gaz
does your car have a brake booster too? my car went from drums all round(no booster) to recond drums and mk2 disks with recond m16(standard) calipers and a mk2 booster, was an enormous upgrade, I now have wilwood 4 pots on the front on the standard disks and they are sweet as I did the same. Was huge upgrade.
Gaz
yea shes got reconditioned drums on the rear and came standard with discs on the front so yup brake booster, well if the mark 2 hub will fit onto the escort stub then life is good me=hoping & praying Check front disc diameter, you may already have sport/ghia size discs in which case just put the four pots straight on and get a booster. Easy as.
escortu
Yea i have tryed the AP's on the original discs but to no avail quite a lot of the brake pads was overhanging so that ain't good! what is the diameter of the mk2 discs you used? 240mm? Gaz
250mm sport discs. AP four pots bolt straight on, no spacers needed and they bolt up to original struts. Will have to play around with hoses. Convert to 1 hose.
escortu
ok that sounds good! yea i have got two pairs one has double input and i have another which has been changed to single so thats sweet might sell the double as not needed! i also found out today that tradeparts make rotors so if the mark 2 hub doesnt fit that can be my second option.
