OK So I wondered why Anglia was sometimes getting a bit rough on idle and noticed that a screw had fallen out of the bracket holding the vac advance onto the side of my dizzy. When I pressed it down the idle sped up a bit/ got a lot smoother When I screwed it back in position the idle is very rough (wont idle without incr the idle speed). So in order to advance the timing, what screw do I loosen? I dont want to do the wrong one and get errthing out of whack. my last anglia had a vernier type wheel on the side you could turn to adjust. This one doesnt. I have borrowed a timing light off my neighbour. PS the blue wire at the bottom of the pic has nothing to do with my ignition
