  1. Cheers dell'orto. Sometimes I wish I had of gone for something simpler like a blacktop 4age. An it would most likely be on the road by now. But, I can not wait to drive this car up in to the mountains with the beams screaming.
  2. Perfect. Can't wait for the hsd coilovers to arive now and see what fits.
  3. I was under the impression that all ke70 stuff was a little smaller. Including the shocks. By later model, you do mean the 1981-86?
  4. That great news. Everything I had read said they don't fit. Was going to wait till te struts arrived and machine up new hubs of I had to. Cheers!
  5. Im also going to need AE86 brakes, calipers, bearings, hubs etc soon to fit the hsd coilovers. so if you have anything please let me know through my discussion thread viewtopic.php?f=18&t=30344&start=120or email PM. Unless you know of something else that fits the Ae86 Axel Stubs. Also may need ae86 Steering Arms. Thanks
  6. i can see im going to stub my thumb when trying to use the handbrake, haha have cut the handbrake shorter since. Also made a frame for the rear bumper. front bumper next weekend.
  7. Cheers speedy al. Means allot. I'm just trying to build something different from the topical 4age or rotary dx on modgies, That can Keep up with mates evo's and hopefully be fun to drive.
  8. Received my Custom Cusco strut brace back today. Wheels still at painters Diff still at engineers Still failing at saving money to pay for the expensive job of wiring it up.
  9. the Mould above had the extra bits sticking out the ends to locate the "Core" The Core is to create the hollow intake holes, and is created from the same sand that is used for around the rest using a separate mould that i didn't take a photo of Other than that it should look exactly like the finished item. This image may help explain the process.
  10. Wheels prepped for paint. Diff prepped for the engineer. Catalytic Converter's cut out and start of exhaust fitted. mmm
  11. nice, ill be stocked if mines anything close to those figures.
  12. Cheers for the info. I picked up a w58 one yesterday which fits my corolla cable and tezza box. Cheers
  13. Also swapped my electronic speedo for a mechanical one off my boss' racecar. W50 some thing.
  14. Got me wheels back. Pretty stocked now to prep them for paint. Also picked up the rear half of the driveshaft today.
  15. From what I have been told and seen beams 3sge is not a good engine to pick if your want big numbers from a NA engine. Some numbers I have seen is around 190hp on the dyno. But again mine isn't going or tuned so I don't really know.
  16. @rolla beams. Create a project thread on here and others will be able to help as well
  17. Prices above for the adaptor were: $350 machined. $250 unmachined for now. It's much easier if people get them machined themselves to suit there setup. I don't really have any drawings as it was drawn straight onto the wood used to make the pattern.
  18. i can sell you a cast aluminium adaptor, that you can machine up to fit the blacktop itb's. havnt tried it with blacktops yet. just silvertop. but 99% sure it should work as the only diference is the size/shape of the intake. It just means that you will have to modify one of the links between the 2 centre throttle bodies. You will need a decent aftermarket computer that can run the dual vvti and the itb's. The fuel system still works as it is not connected to the factory plenum. other than that i am still learning myself so goodluck.
  19. Manifold will be $350 machined. $250 unmachined for now. Need to recoupe some money from making the pattern but it's still cheaper than what fraiser sell there carb manifolds for. Agree on the rav4 awd with quads haha.
  20. does the ke70 speedo cable fit the w5* drive?
  21. Yea just read on google that is200 is the same as w5* so altezza must be too. anybody know where to buy w5* speedo drive from?
  22. thats what i am hoping for, something mechanical that fits. This is a mx5 mechanical drive that looks very similar to the altezza unit.
  23. Im not sure which link, dont even know the diference personally, the electrician i am using had a pretty good plan on what he was going to do when i drop it off. Not sure on a price of the intake manifold as yet. Maybe around 400? probably less.
