Haha $100 If you can get his phone number, but if someone wants to drive out for a look and he isn't home I can give some gas money. Just wanna have a chat if he'd sell it before I try turn up on his doorstep and get rejected(I live in whangarei so it's a bit off a trip)

I wanna see if that chap with the hoard off cars on john st wants to sell one. He doesn't have a postal address so I can find a number in the white pages.
If some one local/ near by could drop my number off(or get his) would be very
Much appreciated.
I'll pay someone $100 if they can get a number haha.

I'm going to try put car into my name and see what happens I guess. We have the right chassis number so I guess we have the rights to plates?
-
Just bought a xy falcon. It came with no plates or tags but has the old wof sticker and that plate number matcha the chassis number. Problem is the plates have been put on some other xy so are legal on someone else's car. Because that car has had a plate tag swap done. If we have bill off purchase the car with correct chassis number of we put those plates into our name are we the legal owner?

They wheels are just revolutions so quite common really.
Manifolds are different. Mitch on here put bike carbs on his 16v mk2.
And yea these cars have nice body lines I think.

thought id do a build thread for one off my vdubs.
I've had this thing for a few years, but have only just got it home from storage.
Plans
Install 2l xflow will use the r1 carbs to get it going and the. Eventually switch to some Webers
So far I've rebuilt the back end, converted to disc added coilovers etc....
Progress will generally be quite slow.

The 350 on my 186 ran like shit rebuilt it change jetting etc... Still ran like a turd. Put a 28/36 on it didn't change jetting and was 100% better
Vw Jetta diesel not pumping fuel

I have a 1.6 diesel in my VW it's a idi diesel.
It doesn't appear to be sucking fuel from the tank. Would this mean the vanes in the pump are stuck? Or just needs a good bleed?
What's a good way to bleed the fuel system and or free up the vanes in the pump
