Yep, stock for any mk2 sedan is 520Ib/ft. Is that tight or sloppy? The coil is only 10.5mm and the one i have been reccommended is 13mm but i need to decide on a IB/FT.

Im dropping my Mk2 Escort about 50mm and also wanting to stiffen the whole ride up. For the front coil spring at the moment is 520 LB/FT and i want it a whole lot stiffer, its not an everyday ride so am happy for it to be a bit bumpy. Any recommendations? I have 17" rims on so once its lowered there wont be much play between the wheel and the guard. For the back im just gonna use lowering blocks but also want to make it more stiff. Can i remove an exsisting leaf and just get a heavy leaf?
