dude, without reading thru your whole thread. What timber did you use for your sides/ varnish did you use?

Hi, from memory its just 12mm run of the mill Rain forest plywood. I used International paints Goldspar marine varnish. Dont use it inside, took over a year for the smell to go away. You can get low odour varnish.

Real easy. Get the design 100% before you start. You will have the floor and sides up in a few hours. Hatch is fun, but plan it well and you will have no problem

This Sunday 7th Feb, at Western Springs.
800 cars entered all ready.
Run by New Lynn Lions, usually a good show, lots of British foamers.
I see on the facebook page, there will be the last ever Chrysler Charger made on display.
Good swap meet, cheap to get a site.
Last year I saw some nice 70s Honda CB350s, Ford Escorts and Transits, hotrods etc.
8am to 3pm.

Dude living next to the petrol station in Abbots Way, Remuera has a yard full of good stuff. Quatro, Austin Healey, Mini traveller, Austin Cambridge. House looks as bad as some of the cars.

Brits at the Beach
On again at Whangamata October 8th to 11th.
Being the last 2 years, huge range of cars from land crabs to english t buckets. Anglias with 4ages, cloth caps, stiff english upper lip.
Good for bonnets up displays and cruises around the Coromandel.

I worked the coffee van at this event last year. Lots of parts, wheels, books, magazines etc. Lots of Ford bits.
A&P showgrounds, Station Rd,Pukehoke. Under cover.
