Any1 ever saw a couch in a van thats legal? Possible to get a cert for 1 or a way cops cant do anything about it? I was thinking if bolting down with belts wasnt legal is bolt it to the bottom of stick seat so its go the legit brackets Is is possible?

Oh, is it just if you have a spare tyre it has to be secured properly? because i had a mate who just failed wof because the tyre wasnt bolted down properly.

Ive got a gtir that ive just bought and it has no room for a spare tyre. not sure where it originally went. If it strapped one down in the boot (where it would have gone) will it pass a wof? There i'snt any bolt holes or slots for a spare or anything. Also is the inside rear view mirror necessary for a Wof? Cheers

I have just bought a dvd player, screen, tv tuner in a package and it has a Pioneer Carrozzeria beacon control unit Anyone know what they are and what they do? didnt buy to get it, just happened to come with it. Cheers

Sweet as, Ill give it a crack, Otherwise ill get another cheap 1. Just hat its a good 1 and theyre $400 on trademe so thought id try fix it. Just cant see what can go wrong with it as it doesnt look like its been used much and has been bolted to the floor its whole life so not getting knocked around

Why even comment if your going to be a wanker. I was just asking in case someone had had the same issue or its a common problem with an easy fix. Comment things that actually interest you or you can help with or get a life

Na not any fuses. Theyre all good. Will try and borrow a multimeter and see whats getting a current. I thought normally the lights that say its going are normally at the end of the circuit to say the points getting power. Just doesnt make sense to me Will put location in profile Cheers

Ive got an ex show car which has a 12v to 230v inverter in it. It seems to be going but no power?? Its hooked up correctly and the green light is on to say its going (as opposed to the red for fault). I have plugged heaps into it to test but nothings working, It did run a tv and playstation so I dont know whats wrong with it Any ideas? Cheers

Dont worry, Pulled whole car apart, panels, seats etc. Found the wires, which had been pinched in a seat, shorted and then blew a fuse. Took a while but going now. Cheers

Other end of S-video goes to rca, found that, still dont know hoe it gets power supply as this is the only cord going into it. Still stumped???

I have bought a new car with a Roof screen in it. There are rcas everywhere as it has other screens and multiple amps.etc so I dont know whats what. I took the screen off and it had an S-Video plugged into it.and thats it. This would mean there is a power input through this, As i dont know where the wires come out, i dont know what there is, I would think red, white and yellow rcs and something else???? Anyone wired 1 before or any help Cheers

I just bought a 1994 Toyota FXGT. It needs new pads, Will these be the same as normal Corollas? or would they have upgraded ones or different due to it being more sporty.

Im looking at buying a car but one problem with it is indicators arent working. They work with alarm so I assume theres something wrong with the switch. Will it get a wof if I made another switch on steering wheel or something for it? or on dash? Do they have to be run off the stalk?

Yea I was meaning a switch, just needed to know if straight from batt would be ok. I was mainly thinking of running a few batteries so I could run for parties etc. I have a heap of neons, Leds etc. that flash with music so is a good party van.

I wanting to setup my van sounds to a battery without having to run a wire for remote and have sounds going without turning van on (I use without head unit and just rcas to ipod) Is it just another 12v wire from ignition? If i ran another 1 from battery it would be ok? Would any current running through it turn it on or would too much fry it or something? CHeers

Oh yea, Might just do that as id prefer to have them than not, But atleast i can get a wof without them

Yea, Is a bit annoying reversing knowing that no1 knows your are, Wheres the fuse for them? There's no fuse in the fuse box for reverse lights, I assume they have one? Bulbs are good so something in wiring id say

My van is just about due for a WOF and the reverse lights dont go, I havent really looked at them as not a problem but do you need them for a wof. And could I hook them up to a switch if theres something wrong with whatever makes them go when put into reverse. The previous owner got it a wof with them as is but think it was a bit dodgy as is a few things that needed doing even just after it got a WOF.
