I Heard theres a difference between the auto and manual kp60 axles. Is this ture? if so how can I tell the difference? Has had a engine and box transplant and not sure what it was from factory, It is a DL starlet which somebody told me they were autos Any info would be great. Cheers

Just got a new daily which has an alarm which is extremely sensitive. Its an aftermarket fusion alarm, i have no clue when it comes to alarms etc. Would it likely be able to be made less sensitive or disconnect temporarily? Its all in one with door poppers as the key locks are fucked so when i lock alarm is activated I park on a busy street in palmy north and alarm is set off with a knock of the mirror, stupidly sensitive Any thoughts?

Has spark but still not sparking, is timed enough to run. It ran for a couple of seconds but nothing else since. When it turns over it will turn over as it should but every now and then something stops the starter motor, like some force pushing it backwards. doesnt fire or anything, doesnt even make a noise, just stops turning over. Then returns to turning over again. Any ideas? Im clueless!

Yea man. Changed a whole heap of connectors and made improved connections. not sure what it was but it sparks now so i dont really care. Cheers for your offer

No sadly, coil wasnt the problem. Anyone know how hot the resistor next to the coil should get? Just noticed it got extremely hot (untouchable and could feel heat radiating off it) Not sure if theyre meant to get hot as ive never noticed. ???

Buying a new daily cheap off a mate, its a honda shuttle and it has a smashed rear window. Can i pass a woth with some sheet steel over it untill i can find a window? Also any1 know where i can get a window? Cheers

Tried a different coil but nothing coming out of that either. Still trying to find a wiring diagram good enough (all blurry and hard to read)

So put lead from coil straight to plug and do the same thing?

Fixed gas leak with a bit of thread tape and gasket glue, worked mint. But its not sparking at all. I put plug next to block and couldnt see spark (got a mate coming to give me a hand) bit hard to tell with 1 person. Just had 4k in my wagon shit itself so picked up a cheap 3k to put in. Got all in there and everything seems to be in in order except when i start it its leaking gas out of the fuel line going into carb, i tightened it thinking it was lose but no change, its leaking out reasonably quick and im wondering if theres enough getting into cylinder. Wont fire at all? Any ideas? In Otaki if anyone passing through or from local that could help In my eyes it should go... Need help asap as is my daily
