Been a while. Done a bit although it doesnt reeally look like it. fuel line all in (hope i get away with rubber) had very mixed comments on it. the bay, little dusty and shit. all that needs to be in here is a master cylinder. nice bit of camber. looks more in real life. so low!! ground clerance, almost nothing. gooood. looking fresh. first time seeing this side?? all there is to do now, drive shaft (should have it in the next few days) and master cylinder as i said, and also should have that soon. going away for most of november which suuucks!! but the race will be on to get everything right and certed for the end of the year.

and yes as you can see, it goes from primer to sanded blue... tried painting it, rushed it, wasnt happy, called in the pro and now looks very niiice.

been a while, done alot.. looking through this door in the shed. back anglel, back needs to be lower though. getting ready to paint, first sunlight in a while! had to steer into the shed hahah didnt mean to do the gay pose. ended up getting a yacht painter mate to do it, set up a real good tent and shit. undercoat stoked fan set up building back up hopefully get more on/in this weekend.

yea i was talking about those real big ones haha. that set up looks alot beter than mine. i had trouble with getting it to go back to no throttle, how is yours done? cant see any springs.

yea I'm using one from philspeed. i mean its ok, just not ideal for balancing and shit. where would you get a 'factory styled' on fro mikunis? because the ones for example from burton power are really good, but have ones for either weber and another for dellorto. so just dont know if those would fit the mikunis.

Are twin sidedraft linkage kits universal? Between anything and mikuni. Im running this average as one at the moment. And hard to find mikuni ones around.

Wow. got these back from grandad, looking so so nice. bit flash. brand new wilwood dynalites. Thanks to F40 motorsport for helping getting these sorted. did such a nice job. Iv only got one back at the moment though, getting the other on monday. although now i need new tie rods as i stupidly fuckd mine, so any help getting some would be great. but this is it on the ground (one side) sorry for shit angle but thats all the room i have. Its reeally low, back needs to come down a little i think to match front, but im so happy with it. hoopfully painting her this week/weekend.

Picked up a fan from pick-a-part. nice slim one. could see it behind the grill though. so i decided matty b was i order, first tie using it on the car, not bad for a 'westie' painting seats black. came up real nice. also picked up the rest of my chromed stuff. looks soo good.

Is it ok for cert and shit to have a rubber fabric braid fuel line going underneath the car? Hope so....

Got a bit done over the last few days engine and gearbox all bolted up finished up the gearbox cross member and looks allgoood., engine seems high at the front though... painted the gas tank, just spray can, but painted some clear on it too. bonnet on, looking fly. got the sewing machine up so i could make the shifter hole come through properly. looks sweet as. comparison. seats back and in soon i hope! and struts so i can get the front on the ground.

I do have one. Taking it out though, causes understeer aparently... Or should i keep it in im guesing now.

Do you have to run a rear sway bar on a standard escort diff? If so can i cut the mounts off the diff? And still be sweet for a cert?

Yea you have to i think. fuck knows what was wrong but i got some other hubs now and they fit them. The guy i got the discs off said he did a bit of research and said somthing about some 1100 an 1300s had smaller discs and different hubs, like 220 rotors or some shit. But its all sorted now.

So i think maybe at one point during the cars life some may have converted it to disc? Using the same hubs but disc struts? (even though i thought only really early mk1's had drums all round) Thats all i can think of? If that can be done... Now trying to find some other hubs now to see if they will then fit.
