I think it is a 32/36..Will have to double check. It came off the same engine 2 years ago but we took it apart and cleaned the hell out of it... It has been lying around for the last 2 years but we also gave it another good clean just before we put it on and didnt seem to find any faults etc... Cheers!

Hi everyone, My mate and I decided to replace his single weber carburretor on his 1.6L Kent Ford Escort Mk2, with a twin weber carb yesterday. However, we are having trouble getting the car to start and are wondering if the carburretor is faulty, or if we have done anything wrong when installing the carb... The carb squirts fuel into the barrels fine, yet when we try to turn the car over it wont ignite, and when trying to turn the car over whilst pumping the gas we get flames exploding out of the carb (from too much fuel im guessing)... Would it just be the tuning screws possibly way out of tune? We have tried tuning the carb but cant really succeed obviously. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers, Jimmy
