will depend on the certifier
as long as there is minimal material removed then i cant see a problem
Thanks for the reply Guess i'll talk to him when I go through the process aswell but always good to have outside opinion too.

Suppose I should mention that it isn't the actual wheel I'll be using on the car, just for test fitting to make sure it all works and is legal before I go cutting up my actual wheels.
-
Is this okay on a wheel in order to fit slim spacer nuts under? Have been relayed information from a friend recently going through cert that this is totally acceptable, and Znoelli offered the service also so it can't be dangerous surely?
It's been done properly and all that, and is only cut down by 3-5mm at absolute max, but just wondering if it could cause any problems going through cert. Again, the certifier I'd probably be using has said that he doesn't mind this at all.

Spotted at the local workshop. Fresh import, very nana spec and it will stay this way.

Anyone know whats up with that $6 paint from supercheap, it never seems to harden. Even after a couple of days you can rub it off with your finger. And move it around under clearcoat, I'm not expecting much for $6 but that doesnt sound right.
-
I should really get a cert, then I could attend these big meets without fear of a sticker haha.
-
How many coils did you cut off the fronts? gonna cut the springs soon and that looks like a nice height ..
-
Hell yeah, wishing I went with chrome ones after seeing them on your car. Get some hektik angle going on with that plate
You could look into finding a facelift cefiro tail light center panel and cut it to suit to fill your hole (ha), will probably be marginally cheaper than finding one off a x8 toyota. If you wanted a red one that is.
EDIT: even a pre facelift panel might work, they have an orange strip like your tail lights too.

It's only electrical tape for the slash so it's easy to take off. I just love the look of them.

Have you re mounted your number plate below the bumper yet?
Join the club mang. Bought some bolts with LED's in them for $6 off tardme, passed a wof no worries.

No steering lock anyways so no problems there, just no dash lights stemming from the ignition barrel/key not working or whatever
-
Sweet cheers, I'm a total retard when it comes to wiring haha.
-
The ignition barrel or something in my skid car has been self destructed for a while now, and I was wondering if I could set up a couple of switches so I don't have to use the key anymore?
Like one for the ignition (lights power etc) and one to engage the starter motor? then I could remove the dash and get all hektik with it.
Car is a 1JZGE JZX90, if anyone has the wiring diagram handy.
Thanks in advance.

Forever jealous of 4x114, and everything else related to this car.

or maybe he was trying to slice his tyre open by throwing cards at it

I lowered it because I couldn't deal with that guard gap

Yeah pretty sure it was Matt's, he works literally a minute away from where it was parked. His work is so amazing, pretty much everything he posts on facebook just blows my mind haha.

Would love to help you out but the only 114's i have are running the same specs as you lol.

How much stretch were you running? Out of interest of course, doesnt look like much.
195 50s on 8's at a guess?

This is probably a stupid question, but water will be running through that little cooler thing for the window de mister yes? I've removed my heater also so will probably steal your idea haha.
Enjoying your build progress, keen to see it finished

Check out HaulPlus for a shipping/transporting quote. I've done a couple of cars through them and they have always been cheaper than any other company.

Something my uncle is painting at the moment, dude hasn't driven the thing in around 15 years.
And spotted this lush thing on the way home a couple weeks ago.
