  1. Um motorcycle gas tank and depending on if I have some left over, wheels. I'm not expecting a smooth finish. Quite the opposite, looking more towards their hammered look. Last time I did it, i gouged up the surface with a sanding disk and it came up mint :)

  2. Hey team, just wanted to know if there is one in NZ, or if we just have to get it from Mitre 10 etc? Also, has anyone brushed the hammered stuff on a smooth surface before? I've had plenty of practice with cans, and they came up mint on subframes etc, but gonna be doing some panels, and wanted to know if brush will mess it up or not?

The issue is theres gold, blue etc, but they come in cans, and I don't have a gun. Is it worth it trying to find a gun and doing it? Looking mainly at gold, and green. Cheers.

  3. Hey I can offer some input into this as some fuckwits decided to claim shit on me when I sold a car. Got taken to small claims over shit they already knew about.

Basically what happened was I sold car with no wof, reg on hold, I gave em giant wof fail list, made them sign a contact stating its as is where is, they've had their experts look into it etc, they acknowledge all that broken with it. Then 2 days later they came back with their hired bruisers and said either I pay up all their money back and they keep the car or we go to court.

Rundown in court was that the presider said that if the seller has taken the necessary precautions and has advertised everything truthfully then sadly you guys have no case. But if it was royally fucked and he got a dodgy wof and said that everything was hunky dorey will pass wof etc and no issues whatsoever and deliberately misled her into buying said car then you have a case.

Make sure you get as many opinions from mechanics as possible, get written quotes and ask if they mind if you have to call them during your case to provide an expert opinion. I took all my old quotes, and mech receipts for the work I had done, and while we were in proceedings, i called up 2 mechs I had look at the car, brought out the quotes and everything.

Basically its caveat emptor unless the seller has misled you. Also please make sure all instances of bullying and verbal abuse is either witnessed or recorded/noted as this can count as evidence in your case. Hope this helps
