hi to the Oldschool crew, Thought i'd sign up and post my projects. First is 1973 NZ new S30 240z. Bought as a stalled project from previous owner. Currently 'roasting' the shell rotisserie style! new sills, new battery area / floor, various other rust spots. Nearing completion and ready for blasting. Body shell was stripped using paint stripper and was protected well enough so has surface rust everywhere. This car will be getting the RB25det engine / trans swap. It'll be finished in original white with deep red interior. The next Z is currently floating in the middle of the tasman ocean! on a ship from the USA. Should be here in a week or so. It's a '73 also with an '83 280ZX turbo / inter-cooled engine and trans. Currently has steel wheels on it for transport but hoping to sort that soon after it's here. Might loose the flares if i can't find a nice modern / low offset wheel combo that fill the arches and don't cost an arm and a leg! Needs quite a bit of tidying after previous owner installed motor etc. Really clean car with what looks like original paint. an ebay impulse buy so crossed fingers!! Slow updates as time / $$ allow Cheers BH
