My 1ggte was 170rwkw on 8psi on a bad tune. Can't remember what is was like standard but i dont think it was that slow. Remember thinking it was like an rb20det when it was standard.

Hahaha that is the best thing I've ever seen. I'm selling everything I own to get that awesomness.
So we're all in agreement then, Slippers is selling his gx71 to me or someone like me, then he's buying a supra, then we're going to combine our skills to build a gx71 music car. Problem averted

If the motor is at throwing away point then there might be cause... I single turboed my 1g and had a lot of fun in it. Few track days... 1gge to keep it original and better value by the sounds of it. Turbo for self pleasure

Cool old fella aye. He said he was gonna shed a tear when I was hopping into the Gemini. Felt good ripping him off haha.
-
Outcome of this? Please someone on here rescue the morris wagon. Sounds awesome.
Good job spooch on getting gem. Will be a sweet daily. There is one international GM-T car rule you must abide by ... no wheels larger than 13" are allowed to be fitted.
Thanks. Already sourced some 13x7.5 and 8.5s from an oldschool member.
Let us know how you get on with the Oxford. I only had a quick peek under one of the covers so don't blame me if it sucks..
-
Well you could do first in first served but you could out bid each other.
That's what I did for the Gemini. Some other guy was too slow to come up with the money (an hour to slow lol) so I got it. Admittedly I was in first but then he offered more money. So I matched it.
I'll leave it with yous fullas

His names Rob.
If your anyone's gonna call him maybe they should post here, just to stop him getting dozens of calls I guess.
-
He said something like he hasn't started it in 20 years but reckons he could still fire it up and drive it down the road, so maybe he has.
Was under covers, dusty paint flaking. Interior looked great.
Has 57000 miles. He's owned it since new.
He will try and get it going this week then send some photos. He said your welcome to view it. In whitford.
That's all I know.

Bought it and love it.
Like it came off the show room floor. And it's surprisingly quick.
Also in his barn of goodies (should've taken a photo of his tractor) he has a 1961 Morris Oxford wagon which is pretty sweet. Only 1 owner.
He was gonna take it to the dump but I told him someone here might be interested...

Ha yea, long story short, spooch was the bad English spelling of epoch. And its fun to say.
Will let you know how I go on the Gem

My browser won't let me cut and paste?
The Cressida is gold
The Gemini is greeny, crap photos, its on Wheedle.
-
Haha the Cressida sold today for $200. What a kick in the nuts
Search Cressida on Autotrader and you'll see what we missed out on.
-
Metallic green one?
-
Sweet thanks guys, something to think about.
I'd only buy it to sell it. They want $1000 but reckon I could get it for less.
Also what do you reckon a 1984 Cressida in original condition with 127kms could sell for?
I'll start growing a goatee and get my leather boat shoes out.
-
So they suck then?
-
Sorry for the dumb topic but I've been offered a Holden Gemini with 34,000kms quite cheap and I'm wondering what they're worth.
I'm a Jap crap car guy so don't have a clue if these are yay or gay. It's 1.6 manual.
Any advice really appreciated,
Thanks

I don't think it has to go to VTNZ because its been in somewhere else before. Can you just take it to any VTNZ?

Hey, quick question that's probably been answered a million times, but where is the most lenient place for a reregistration on the North Shore Auckland. Or any place on the North Shore. I'm in a rush.
Cheers big ears

I've got a feeling Suzuki Escudo rear shocks fit in and are much shorter. I may be on drugs though

So if anyone wants to get some photos of their cars or come for a roll, we're going from the domain to mission bay after about 2.30pm

Had the water pump bearing fall to pieces on my chaser. It mustn't have liked new tension of new belt and shot ball bearings everywhere. Still lasted like 10000kms first though.
-
It was from a creepy guy and his old man way out in the country. And they had this room set up in their house for photography. Probably taking photos of their victims.

Found a newspaper article about a death, a photo and some records carefully placed inside the door card of my girlfriends skyline when i replaced the speakers.

Yea my fix to pass wof on leaky shocks was to clean then throw dirt upon item. Old dirt throw works every time mate
