Fair enough, although couldn't you have taken the colour from a place on the car that doesn't see the sun? Like the inside of the petrol filler flap or something? Congrats on getting a colour sorted though, it can be quite a hard decision.

This is probably a retarded question but....why not paint it the original red colour? (or as close as you can get from a colour chart) Would suit the car to have an 80's colour on it. Along the lines of what Mikuni said, cars like this usually look better with simple, clean paint jobs.

Having seen this in the flesh I can definitely say that it is pretty goddamn tidy +1
