  1. towing my wagon with my 87 lux wasn't the best idea trailer is not braked the 55 is ova 2 tonne and the trailer is a old steel speedway one (heavy azzz) hilux sits lower then the trailer so car in the middle of trailer and my back wheels were off the ground to far forward and the front wheels had no weight on them and its powered by a mighty 3y 4 speed and about 1600kg was all good only had to go 200km ova a few hills ;)

  2. need steering made to work can link it to the handle you hold so both you and child can steer it ive seen it set up like that somewere trying to find info

    also seems like the ones like what your making have fake front wheels and a dummy swivel wheel under front so you can turn when pushing can be seen in this vid

  3. Yeah thats the same photo as in the tiny houses cabin thread? So cool. I would like to build a ufo and hide it in the bush somewhere. But it wil be after we build a cabin on ridge followed by a hobbit hole halfway up the ridge. Not that I am a big Tolkien fan. I just love the idea of a semi underground cosy getaway.

  4. ive got a 180ltr old copper hotwater cylander was hooked up mains and wet back ive pulled out of my project house was working fine we just going mains pressure upgrade was made in 1977 might be a bit overkill for what you need tho was looking at selling to scrap man

     

    also got some copper pipes that ive pulled out of house and could clean up real nice

     

    and alot of rimu bits

I havent looked into many of these tiny house trailers etc, but are there 2 distinct camps? 1 that moves around lots and 1 that doesnt? and are their mobile homes vastly different? as in do the ones that move lots build things in such a way that stuff wont fall off the shelves when moving vs people that have to pack away a lot of things before they can hit the road?

    How would you build shelving to stop your die cast car collection from rolling off it when you move site? Is there a trick or is everything hot glued down as much as possible?

     

    Velcro is your friend for those sorts of things

  6. what is the specs on the shed and are you willing to share the costs? ive just brought a place and kinda in the same boat and would like to get a shed built had very similer ideas to yours if you don't want it public could you pm info cheers
