  1. I decided I wasn't a fan of the yellow and orange so gave it a quick matt black coat. I'm also going to sell it now. Whilst it's a good car, in a couple of months I'm off travelling so will have to buy a van. Before then I want to get one more interesting car so will put it for sale on offers or swaps and see what I get. I'm hoping to stay Ford and rwd, perhaps seek out an EB?
  2. The ultra sporty column change on the Falcon seems a bit out of alignment. It doesn't always go into gear straight away and due to what must be a safety feature, won't always start straight away as it doesn't think it's in P. Shifting over to first and back will do it, but not always first time. I have no experience of this type of box so any ideas what might be causing it?
  3. We did try the blotchy paint scheme But not sure it works tbh. Eyebrows aren't staying by the way
  4. Needs more matt black, spotlights and bullbars for the Wolf Creek/Mad Max serial killer look
  5. I've been wanting a Falcon ever since I arrived in the country and have recently been scouring the classifieds but could find little in my price range. Spotted this up for sale by a backpacker and knew straight away i wanted it. Picked it up for a decent price on Thursday I never knew something with such a big engine could be so slow, but it sounds lovely. Objectively it's pretty bad and thus far I'm pretty sure my Sunny was actually faster. But I'm already loving it and really makes you smile driving it around. I think it's time to have a bit of light hearted fun. So since the paintjob is already somewhat dodgy, I'm thinking of matt blacking it (yes I don't normally like it, but I really think it would work on something like this). Stereo system needs some attention as it currently has three working speakers, all different makes, and I need something to drown out the rattles. Engine feels strong, has no real rust and just had a new WOF. So I took it home and sprayed the wheels black and then got stitched up when I wasn't looking (back to matt black again now) Not sure how long I'll have it for and I'm on a pretty tight budget, but that doesn't mean I can't have some fun
