sorry its the part that goes into the gearbox with the teeth on it , it doesnt match up and i have searched the net and the only one that comes up is the one i have , would different ratio have different teeth?

hey is there different types of speedo drives for a t50 box as i got a new gearbox and the speedodrive doesnt mesh up thanx

its a bluetop 4age in a ke30 , thanks i think the clutch has been in there for a long time so might have a look at that, i also noticed once i bleed the clutch it took closer to the firewall if that helps?

hey i have a w55 gearbox behind my 4age , im having a problem with downchanging 2nd and 3rd, it goes up fine but just wont let me down change . i tryed changing the oil that didnt help, any ideas?

cant find out whats wrong with it if anyone is christchurch that can come help me out that would be grate.will supply a box of your choice or cash thanx

hmm she runs ok but having problems will not rev over 4500rpm or hitting the (second hit) not sure what u call it anyone know what that would be ?

got her going again (wires from tps to comp where up shits creek) just got to sort out the pulsing problem now think i might be a lil out on the tps?

ok sweet will try do that, asked my old man to test it all as hes a sparky the tps part is working but he reacons the wires back to the ecu are broken so hopefully its that will let you know if it was just wires ah thanks for all the help guys

hey done everything that you guys have told me to , its got good spark , got fuel, took rail off and injectors they all had fuel,checked timing that was good, i think ill have to find a new tps now it looks to be that way.anyone have one i could buy off them? thanks for all the help

it idles with the tps off but when put some gas in it dies

havent touched the motor apart from putting injector clean in fuel ,i did wash down the engin bay but i did get rid of all the water in the leads and dizzy everything else

could be fuel but i can feel fuel going into the fuel rail and coming out or could it be injectors are blocked?

its a blue top 16v,how would i check the air flow meter /Throttle Position Sensor ?sorry dont know to much about 4ages

i checked all the hoses and plugs cleaned all them but still does the same thing

hey having problems with my 4age,was driving yesterday pulled over and it died,tryed to start it would start for 10sec or get to 1000rpm then die and wont start , can sometimes get it to idle give it some gas and it dies ,i had noticed last week it had a lil miss to it on the odd occassion, i checked the spark plugs they look ok leeds are good,im think maybe rotor or dizzy cap ?? any other things???

yeah its a white plastic clip behind the speedo gauge that holds the speedo cable on?

hey put a longer speedo cable in the escort , and the plastic clip by the speedo broke is there something else i can use?or where can u buy new one from?

its still carby ,so if i put a fuel cell/drop tank in my fuel pump on the motor will work fine? thanks for the help

ok thanks for that ,would a facet red pump work ok or is there a better one? where did you get your drop tank from? was it hard to put in? thanks
