Test coil and power to coil got a voltmeter or test light? If it has power to coil then trigger would be next piece to check.

anyways that's another shell in taupo as they are gettin thin on the ground. Will have all the rust tho and they have cut the firewall out
choice one you mad buggers!

just gunna slowly take insides out, then wip the slant out, then il see whats good... i did find that the rotors arent any thicker than my ones in there so but i heard today that a mod to some renault 21 rotors and some head scratching will possibly do the trick... il keep you in mind alex. oh this one has sway bar too so pretty chuffed about that... go away rain....

the casings for the original xr250s split the other way dont they? instead of side ways they are vertical... right thru the guts of the crank etc...

So got another parts car,
Got her home with this
Has a few bits i need to get my one in ship shape, and its always good to have a few spares. Big thanks to Anthony for the hookups and sorting it out. OSGC

biggest issue is getting the bolting surface flat afterwards to match up to the head. whoever welds it needs to clamp the shit out of it and not get it too hot. maybe get it planed afterwards.
edit: assuming its te flange end

tidy up of the engine bay.
sussed the radiator out, has fan attached which runs off the link via a relay, still need to get the OG temp sensor working for the dash cluster.
also blow-off valve needed a vacuum link so ran one off the top of the throttle body seems to be much better. moved igniter and relays into one corner and the catch can moved to a suitable place. Few holes to weld up and the engine bay will be complete.Seats are attached properly now
Starts and runs fine now now need to work towards getting the driveline and brakes sorted
still heaps to do...

Keen for a bus house, one of them old yellow buses from back in the day. This is totally awesome.

Tps needs the correct values sent 5 v in and then ones an earth that and the third is the one sending values back... If its got 4 wires ones an idle sense. Multimeter and feeler gauges to set resistance at particular stages of its rev cycle... is throttle body and tps all Og?

kinda have to get some other wheels made to fit as whats on offer in the 13inch range isnt that great. 15 inch range however would be better for availability something like some 19555's should be good as i cant run stretch tyres with this setup in the legal sense. Will always have the 8 inch wide 13's though cos they are slick but not yet *cough cough... looking at 15x8 and we'd be legal.
-
no wheels yet, need to sell one of the dailys to buy some 15's then get them re-drilled to 4" x 4" and then skids...
-
Coil pack replaced with a newer better mitsi coil pack and resistors for injectors wired in, and yes folks we have running motor. Found there was an earth wire from the engine to shell which was getting warm when i was cranking so need to find a suitably larger earth to the shell... Pretty quiet too when idle. Stoked as. Choice.

yup coils stuffed out on my sisters one, apart from that good car for a smaller version wagon.

Hey y'all
running wasted spark but one of the coils seems dickered (crack down the side of it, has dropped on the ground and shit oops),
can i set it up to run individual coils if the 1+4 and 2+3 get the same feeds/pulses or is there more to it then that?
What would PIckeys have that i could pilfer for this? particular makes models suitable?
Setup is g1 link with link ignitor running wasted spark on my 16v 4age, (running 4agze CAS)
Cheers
