Yeah, Apex brake n clutch pretty much laughed and said no way have to reline old ones. Waikato brake n clutch had a look but said no have to reline old ones. Repco said no. Not BNT or Partsmaster tho, although I've already had to return ball joints to partsmaster for supplying the wrong ones. Wouldn't have thought them that odd ball!

Been having a nightmare finding replacement rear brake shoes for my 73 Crown. Supercheap had some that their computer said was for a MS Crown, took them home but no go must have been for a newer one. Can't remember part number Then got some from Australia Part# N1062, the site said for MS65 Crown and the picture looked the same but..... Got them and they're too small. Must be 228mm and mine are 254mm. Anyone brought shoes for their MS65 Crown before with success? Guessing i'm going to have to reline the existing shoes but one has been damaged slightly when waiting for the new shoes from Aussie.

Hi Guys, Dismantled everything to replace both upper and lower ball joints and have struck an issue on the lower ones. There is a lip coming up from the mounting surface of the ball joint but it is still cast, it hasn't been machined and the thing don't fit, both lower ones are the same. The removed ball joints slide in and out without any hassle so they're not pressed in, Anyone replace their lower ball joints and remember how they were?
